Description
Photograph of a cluster of five sailboats with lightly colored masts at close range of each other, ca.1940. In the center is a boat marked "6/37", driven by several people and making a sharp turn to the right. To its right is another sailboat occupied by a few shirtless men. To the right of this are two more sailboats, marked "6/46" and "6 US[?]", which is occupied by four men. The leftmost sailboat, "6/45", is occupied by several people as well. In the background is a sailboat that cuts through the center of the picture, and another sailboat lies at the extreme right. In the far background is the shoreline, followed by a beachfront and a line of what appear to be homes and establishments. Behind the settlement stands a rocky cliffside topped with all kinds of foliage.
