Description
During construction of the Gerald Desmond Bridge, workmen are shown perched high above the ground preparing two large support structures for concrete pouring. In the center of this image, an extremely tall crane is working in the same area. In the background are more of the same supports that appear further along in their construction. The bridge carries four lanes of traffic across a channel near the Port of Long Beach. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG. IMAGE: 8" x 10" B&W glossy print.
