Description: Motorists insert coin ($.25 a day) or special card ($2.5o a month) into meter (arrow) to set the gate-lifting mechanism into operation. Installation of parking meter gates on the six huge parking lots to the west of the Coliseum is still under way and is a marked success, it was reported today. Photo dated: May 8, 1957.
