Description
Photograph article dated July 27, 1965 partially reads, “'If a girl drops out of high school there isn't much she can do but get married and raise children or sling hash, and I don't think that's too great a way for a girl to start life.' That is the philosophy of Judy Miller, 17, and the reason she joined the Job Corps. The Job Corps is sponsored in Los Angeles by the YWCA, of which Mrs. Barrying H. Morrison of North Hollywood is executive director." Photograph caption reads, "Writing home is Judy Miller, 17, a student at the Los Angeles Job Corps Center."; See images #00132073 through #00132075 for all photos in this series.
