Description
Painting entitled "Motherhood" showing a half-nude girl nursing a naked baby, is one of the paintings questioned by councilmen in art row today. Critics say the painting is realistic but many people do not think this sort of art should be on public display. Painting was done by Hungarian artist, Francis De Erdely. Photo dated: December 31, 1953.
