Photograph caption dated March 18, 1965 reads "Pioneer Women princesses are, front row, Mmes. Jack Reiss, North Hollywood, left; Sidney Strausberg, Woodland Hills, and Ida Aroner, North Hollywood, and, back row, Mmes. Bernard Mass, left; Marion Chavin, Ralph Ginsberg and Abraham Grossberg, all of North Hollywood; Herbert Woloshin, Sepulveda; Max Horwitz, Van Nuys, and Tessie Spellman, Tujunga. They will be honored at a Purim Ball Sunday at the Hollywood Palladium." The women are members of the San Fernando Valley Council of Pioneer Women.
