Description
Photograph caption dated November 20, 1957 reads "Police and ambulance attendants remove James F. Kober, 20, from apartment where he was shot. He was taken to Valley Receiving Hospital then transferred to General Hospital where his condition was described as 'critical.' Husband and wife gave conflicting stories to police as to how shooting occurred." The incident took place at 13417 Vanowen Street in Van Nuys. See image 00155525 for additional photo in this series.
