One book of original drawings by Charles H. Barnett entitled Drawing Book, created not before 1878. The book of drawings is 12 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains 11 drawings on the first 11 leaves and a 12th drawing which is on a piece of paper laid in front of the last leaf. The drawing book was a blank book, with printed covers that were intended to be completed with original drawings. The back cover contains two images of seals, one of the "Republique Francaise" and one of the "Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1878, Paris." "Mark Twain's Scrap Book" and "Paris Exposition 1878" are printed above and below the two seals. The original drawings, primarily of buildings and houses, all are in pencil. Some are signed "C.H.B." A tissue guardsheet is bound in between each of the leaves.
