Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Santa Monica Beach looking north from Palisades, ca.1905. The broad, sandy expanse of the beach is at left. Bordering the right side of the beach is two-lane paved highway, and running parallel to this is a single railroad. There is a steep cliff at right topped by several small palm trees, and there are large mountains in the distance at center. There is a damaged sign on the beach at left that reads "[...]ades Beach [...] Bundy".
