Description
Mortimer J. Adler discusses his book, “Six Great Ideas: Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Liberty, Equality, Justice: Ideas We Judge By, Ideas We Act On.” He begins by talking about the status of education in America and how education will evolve in the future. He explains how he taught high school literature classes in the inner city of Oakland, California. He describes how teachers should be better trained and educated. Adler talks about his previous books on religion, and discusses how he is writing his next book on angels. He ends the interview by explaining his ideas on combating poverty and focusing on economic equality.
