Description
An elevated panoramic view of downtown Long Beach, facing west. The street in the center is Ocean, with apartment buildings and stores on the left and apartment buildings and the West Coast Theatre on the right. On the left is the beach, with the pier and, beyond that, the Pike. There are a few people on the beach and in the water. The city of Long Beach stretches out into the distance on the right. A stamp at the bottom of Ocean reads "Pettit's Studio ; commercial photographers ; 1416 W. Pico Blvd. ; Richmond 8634 ; Los Angeles 15, Calif." Stamps below that read "Long Beach, California" and "1924".
