Description
Magnavox Odyssey2 (the 2 is superscript) video game console, with joystick. The Odyssey2 was released in 1978 as the second generation of the original Odyssey, the first home video game console, released in 1973. It was also known as Philips Odyssey 2, and sold in Europe as the Philips Videopac G7000, and in Brazil as the Philips Odyssey. The Odyssey2 includes a full alphanumeric membrane keyboard, and standard joystick design of the 1970s and early 1980s. It also had an add-on speech synthesis unit, for speech, music, and sound effects enhancement.
