Description
A black and white photo of Las Plumas siding of the Western Pacific Railroad, at the Great Western Power Co. Las Plumas plant under construction directly across river. Also settlement of Las Plumas on hill above locomotive steam. The photo shows the railroad building and siding and the tower shown in other photos in the series, plus showing the settlement buildings on the hillside above. A short five car train is in front of the railroad building and it has a full head of steam. Inscribed on the backside: "Las Plumas siding Western Pacific RR, Great Western Power Co. Las Plumas plant under construction, directly across river".
