Description
Photograph of a Shiners(?) band marching along Colorado Boulevard in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, 1925. The band is in the foreground at center and is composed of approximately fifty musicians wearing fezzes. Behind the band are three flower-covered floats being escorted by mounted policemen. The sides of the street are densely packed with people watching the parade. Many buildings can be seen along the street as well, and banners are hung from wires over the road. Legible signs include, from left: "Jordan's Dry Goods", "Citizen's Savings Bank", "New Home of the California Securities and Loan Company", "The New Home of [?] The Boys Shoppe", "Newport", "Flowers", "Hancock Music Co. Radio", and "Hotel's".
