Photographic composite portrait of Los Angeles Fire Commissioners and Chief Strohm, ca.1902. The image is a composite of five oval-shaped portraits arranged in a diamond formation. The top corner of the diamond is formed by a picture of Commissioner J. Frankenfield. Below that portrait is the word "Fire". The second row of portraits is made up of images of Commissioner O. A. Vickrey, Thos. Strohm, Chief of Fire Department, and Commissioner J. Kuhrts. Below this row of portraits is the word "Commissioners". The bottom tip of the diamond is formed by a portrait of Commissioner B. O. Webb. All of the men have mustaches and are dressed in civilian clothes, except Strohm, who is wearing his firefighter's uniform.
