Photograph caption dated November 4, 1955 partially reads, "Tom Lisa, former president of Drag Racers Incorporated, suggests that advance commitments be given to a central committee on car class rules that each hot rod group would support...Mickey Thompson, member of LADS Timing Association delegation, and others voiced approval of Lisa's proposal. At far left, in background, are members of San Gabriel Valley Timing Association delegation. Directly behind speaker, seated side by side are Bob Morgan and Sara Oxman of Drag Racers Incorporated. Behind Miss Oxman, who was elected conference secretary, is Red Leggett, president of San Diego Timing Association. At far right is Jim Corwin, head of LADS Timing Association."
