Description
Relevant to airflight and use of airplanes in the Owens Valley and Eastern Sierra region, including use in mountain rescue efforts, fire spotting, aerial snow surveys, and recreation. Mr. White's flying service was created in 1944. Many personal anecdotes about hauling pet mules, noteable celebrities, and flying fisherman and their supplies into the back country.
