This image is one in a series of prints taken of the Jergins Trust Building prior to demolition. The Jergins Trust Building was completed in 1928. Over the years, it housed legal offices, a county law library, a large theater, and other businesses. This exterior image taken from above ground level shows the entrance to the arcade, as viewed from the promenade. The lower three floors of the fire escape ladders are pictured here. A parking area can be seen below, and automobiles fill some of the covered spaces. Two portable trailer units are parked in the foreground. There are rows of windows in poor condition.
