"Lehrerkursus in Ussoke, Sept. 1934" ("Teachers' course in Ussoke, Sept. 1934"). A group portrait of African men, all of them are neatly dressed. August Seibt (1875-1943) was a teacher and a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Unyamwezi (1904-1916) and Usoke (1930-1937). In 1905 he married Frieda Scholz. They returned to Germany in 1937.
