Description
Nice line drawing of a ferocious lion roaring at the viewer. To the left of the lion is a naked child (Native American?) on his (or her) hands and knees looking to the right toward a pack of kittens. The kittens are on the right of the lion; some are hissing and others are just looking at the lion without concern. There are some pots of flowers behing this scene and possibly the face of a woman above the lion's head. Very interesting subject and composition. The lion is drawn and shaded very well. The background is somewhat smudged and not very detailed.
