Description
Mayor's Message. This message mentions the Mayor's illness, condition of streets (gutters, stagnant water), purchase of hose for the fire department, builidng additional cisterns, grading streets, Commissioners of the Funded Debt, settlement fo the Pueblo Land claims, opening of San Fernando street to decrease traffic of driven stock by the "female college", building of a "market house" with stalls for tradesmen, lighting the streets with gas, and the gas company in the city.
