Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated August 1, 1962 reads "A small portion of the fleet which raced in the annual 'Flight of the Snowbirds' regatta on Balboa Bay is shown crossing the starting line last Sunday. Called the 'biggest little yacht race in the world,' the classic event was started 31 years ago. Winner was Cal Preston who bounced his S-433 across the starting line to a good start and was in contention all the way. Trophy for the youngest skipper went to Jay Fisher, 9."
