Description
Loyalist mural, Shankill Parade, Lower Shankill, West Belfast, 2000. Mural depicts scene at Battle of Boyne, 1690; victory for Protestant forces led by King William of Orange over King James. King William III on white horse crossing the Boyne with soldiers carrying the Royal ensign; the defeated King James lies dying in the foreground. Red white and blue kerbstones.
