Photograph of modest dwellings on Buffington Road and Lower Azusa Boulevard in El Monte, ca.1930. A dusty road extends from the center foreground to the right distance with trees hang over from its left side. The trees stand behind the incomplete, wooden fence which separates the road from the small homes at center. The homes are dark with dirt staining their lightly-colored, wooden exteriors.
