Description
Series of nine images of The Supremes performing at a small club, believed to be the Safari Room in San Jose. The Safari Room, managed by Paul Catalana, was located at the corner of Story and White Roads, next door to the East San Jose bowling alley, Plaza Lanes, owned by Catalana's good friend and business associate, Victor LoBue. The photos were found inside an envelope addressed to Mr. Roy F. Drumm, of San Carlos (Calif.), with "Supremes San Jose" written on the front of the envelope. The envelope is postmarked October 14, 1965, from 2900 Whipple Ave., Redwood City, California.
