This 1934 report was prepared by the Civil Service Board to establish periods of employment for city employees in 1934. During that year there was a total number of 790 Civil Service employees. Information in this report include data on the number of applications for examination, leaves of absence, sick leave, eligible registers, and reinstatements and appointments by classification.
