Description: Photograph caption dated January 29, 1979 reads, "Youngsters in Chinatown set off firecrackers and then cover their ears yesterday as they celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year. Among the others celebrating the Year of the Ram were students at Devonshire Elementary School, who made a 40-foot papier-mache dragon."
