Editors and reporters of seven junior and senior high school newspapers in Los Angeles County will be honored today noon at the Statler Hotel in recognition of journalistic accomplishments in the field of public health. Sponsoring the award luncheon will be the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Los Angeles County. Twenty-eight schools participated in the Association's annual Press Project".

In presenting the awards, Dr. Elliot A. Rouff, president of the TB Association, and Gerald P. Rosen, president-elect, lauded the school newspapers for their part in spreading information on the need to support the fight against tuberculosis. Topics of this year's contest were 'How to Defeat Tuberculosis in Los Angeles County' and 'Careers in Health'".
