Photograph caption dated January 1, 1958 reads "Burbank's daydream came true today when its beautiful float claimed sweepstakes prize in Pasadena Rose Parade. Beauties Callie Schuetz, 16; Bernadette Melch, 17, and Gail Taylor, 17, wave from perches on float which depicted Burbank's daydream--that of claiming another sweepstakes prize as city did two years ago. Float was built at cost of $8,000." See image 00155410 for additional photo in this series.
