Description
Photograph of the Tomb of James Graham Fair, San Francisco, ca.1930. The tomb, which appears to be stone, displays the name "Fair" above a wooden door that stands between two dark columns above a small, narrow stairway. The stairway leads to a raised platform of white tile on which the tomb stands at center. Behind the cemetery in which the tomb sits, a faint cityscape can be seen in the distance. Picture file card reads "Tomb of James Graham Fair -- one of the great developers of the mines at Virginia City, Nevada. Died Dec.1984 at age 63. Buried in Laural Hill Cemetery, S.F.".
