"Rainivolo, l'ancien esclave, témoin de la lapidation des martyrs à Tananarive et premier aumonier de la garnison hova à Mahabo" ("Rainivolo, an earlier slave, witnessed the stoning of martyrs in Antananarivo, and was the first pastor in the Hova garrison in Mahabo"). Rainivolo was one of the first christians in west Madagascar.
