Photograph of a view of Ocean Park Boulevard looking east from Amherst before construction, September 29, 1939. A wide dirt road extends into the distance at center from the foreground at left. An open field lined with bushes can be seen along the side of the road at right. In the distance at left is a row of light-colored houses, and more houses can be seen in the distance at center. A line of utility poles can be seen at left. Compares to CHS-14447, which shows the same roads after construction.
