This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
No caption. This view faces north on Sutter Street just east of Montgomery and shows a horse-drawn vehicle of some sort, possibly a fire fighting device. Men in uniform are standing around it and a flags are flying from it. The back of A, Carlisle & Co. Stationers & Printers can be seen in the background, with the extended Mills Building behind it.
