Photograph article dated June 10, 1965 partially reads, "On Monday, Mrs. Douglas Whitney will be installed as president of the Valley auxiliary of the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aged in noon ceremonies at the Sportsmen's Lodge, 12825 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. Installing officer will be Mrs. Sam Hoffman, who founded the auxiliary in 1951 and was its first president."
