Description
Panoramic view of the former Samuel Calvert Foy property, looking northeast from 7th Street on December 20, 1919. A car is parked on the street. Samuel Foy was the father of the first female City Librarian, Mary Foy. As of this photo date, the property was being used by the Golden State Transfer Co. In 1921 the house was moved to Witmer Street just north of Wilshire Blvd. In late 1992 it was again moved to the Angeleno Heights district of Los Angeles.
