Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site located at 8900 E. Washington Boulevard in Pico Rivera; view is looking southeast. The plant is located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (crossing at top left to right) and Washington Boulevard (at bottom left). Also visible is Paramount Boulevard crossing bottom right. The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948; the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated February 26, 1960.
