Description: From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition curated by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). This caja has as its center piece a large red heart with nails half-driven into it. Below it is a clock with wires extending from it that resemble a bomb. Long, white hair acts as a frame for the piece, which was placed within a hand carved wooden frame. Collection: Amalia Mesa-Bains.
