- Annotations/Markings: No signature. One seal "Hayashi Rōen-in" (painted by Hayashi Rōen) at lower left corner and a second at upper left corner preceding inscription. Two more painted copies of seals of Tang Yin following copied signature of Tang Yin at upper left following inscription.

Biography/History: Artist also known as 林閬苑. An eccentric Edo period artist who studied with Fukuhara Gogaku.
Acquisition: Acquired with the kind assistance of Carol Brooks and Professor James Cahill in honor of George Schlenker.
Funding: Digitization funded by an Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Leadership Grant (LG 30-02-0260-02) awarded to the University of California, Merced Library.
