Description
Over twenty sweet potatoes are arranged in a small mound. A yardstick leans across the length of the mound to give a perspective of their size. Two small sweet potatoes in front are labeled "The Parents". Sweet potatoes were an early specialty cash crop cultivated after irrigation water was available via the Turlock Irrigation District beginning in 1900.
