E. view of the Damion Rios adobe along Occidental Street in Capistrano Village, 1936. Porch, entrance, windows and roof are visible. Another building is visible behind the adobe and hills are visible in the distance. Chair and plant stand rest on the porch. Damion Rios was the grandson of the original builder, Santiago Rios. The adobe was likely built in 1794 and was repaired and remodeled after the 1933 earthquake due to damage.
