Printed on bottom, front of mount board "F.G. Schumacher, Los Angeles, Cal."
Portrait of Samuel Kraemer, son of Elenora Schraw and Daniel Kraemer, who in 1867 purchased 3900 acres in an area called North Anaheim (now Placentia); married Angelina Yorba in 1886; Samuel inherited a portion of his father's ranch and was also a large commercial property owner in Anaheim, including the Kraemer Building which he built in 1925 and the Angelina Hotel; image shows bust-length view of Samuel, wearing a dark suit with vest, white shirt and dark tie.
