Bird's-eye view of Orange, California, looking west from 100 block of South Center Street, possibly from St. John's Lutheran Church (on the corner of South Center Street and East Almond Avenue), ca. 1914. In the center background stands the Rochester Hotel (310 West Chapman Avenue), behind the Ehlen and Grote building (114-118 South Glassell Street). The steeple of the First Methodist Church (100 block South Orange Street) may be seen at the left.
