Description
Odell hopes that Kanow's brother's experience will not cause Kanow to drop out of college, at least not until the end of the semester. He encourages Kanow to see President Bird or Dr. Cleland before making a decision. Odell writes that he is concerned about the role of Japanese American citizens especially given the "nationalistic and poorly informed behavior of white Americans in a time of national emergency."
