View looking northwest on North Los Angeles Street (now Anaheim Blvd.) at La Palma Park; image shows damage to La Palma Park, including erosion and downed trees, at left; at center, damage to the street includes loss of asphalt and concrete sidewalk; coal oil lanterns have been placed on crates in the road to mark the damage and warn motorists; at right and background, debris litters the side of the road and a house has been washed off its foundation and into the middle of the road; automobiles are visible trying to drive around the house.
