Description
This house was built by immigrants from Illinois who immigrated around the turn of the century as part of the “Illinois Colony.” Charles Hartshorn, the owner of this two story house, was the son of E.D. Hartshorn another Illinois immigrant who also owned a home in the area. The Hartshorn house was later purchased by the Ohmsted family and moved to another lot on Calle Maria. This photo shows the house in the process of being moved to its new site.
