Description
"Smartsville, Yuba County, this quiet little community was once the lively home of 1500 miners. During the period of intensive hydraulic mining from 1860 to 1883 it was very active. Today only a store, post office and church remain where there were once 16 saloons." (Notation on back of postcard)
