Description
This six page representative issue of the Pomona Center News, dated July 10, 1942, includes headlines such as "Mess Halls Graded in Contest," "Return Empty Bottles," and "Priest to Give Talk." Of special note is a column called "Swapping," which announces news from other assembly centers. The Pomona Center News was published twice weekly at the Pomona assembly center from May until August, 1942. It covered center news and announcements and also included a sports section.
