Description
From the Charles Henry Geer photo album series that depicts a promotion held to sell land in Turlock, California, circa 1907. One man wears a duster, some are in work-clothes and many wear suits and ties as they walk away from the train station area that was the center of Turlock in 1907. The Southern Pacific Railroad station can be seen on the right. Across the street, beyond the crowd, are visible the trees, roof and second story of the Turlock Hotel.
