Description
The Gold Star lapel button was given to the mother of Pfc. Mitsugi Ben Takamoto who was killed in action during the Korean War, July 29, 1951. Gold Star Lapel Buttons are presented to surviving spouses, parents and next of kin of United States military service members who die while on active duty or as a result of a service-connected disability.
