One lone man wearing suit and hat gazing at Mount Tamalpais. The Tavern can be seen at the top of the mountain as well as the cut for the railroad below. The man is standing in a clearing on the edge of a rutted dirt road. The photo was taken from an area shaded by trees in the foreground along the dirt road.
